The Wando High School Marching Band will host a Community Performance of this year's show, "Ascension," on October 15 at 6:30pm as they prepare for competitions, including the Bands of America Regional Championship from Oct. 21 to 23 in Orlando, Florida and the 5A S.C. State Marching Band Championship Nov. 5 in Irmo. Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to the music programs of Cario and Laing middle schools.
