Organization
The Bands of Wando Foundation is a South Carolina nonprofit corporation, 501(c)(3), organized for charitable and educational purposes, and is established to promote music education to students.
The Bands of Wando Foundation’s purpose is to provide critical financial assistance to deserving band students in the middle feeder school programs and Wando High School band program. Without financial assistance for instruction, instruments, and travel, many deserving kids would not be able to fully participate in the regionally and nationally recognized Bands of Wando concert and marching program.
Our Mission
The Bands of Wando Foundation provides private funding to help children from all economic backgrounds benefit from collaborative discipline, personal responsibility, and creative expression through participation in the excellent bands programs of Wando High School, Cario Middle School, and Laing Middle School.
